Does the exported signature have a white background?
No. The PNG background is transparent. The on-screen checkerboard indicates transparency and is not included in the export.
Can I draw with a finger or stylus?

Why is the downloaded image smaller than the canvas?
The output is cropped around the drawn strokes rather than exporting the entire blank canvas. This makes it easier to insert into other documents.
