Frequently asked questions
How do I add a date or time stamp to a photo?
Insert the current device date or time into the text field, then add and position the text. You can type a different capture date manually.
Can I edit several text labels separately?
Yes. Add multiple labels, select an existing one on the preview, change its text or styling and drag it to a new position.
Does the date button read the photo’s EXIF capture time?
No. It uses your device’s current date and time. Enter the actual capture time manually when needed.
Will fonts look identical on every computer?
Sans serif, serif and monospace use available device fonts, so glyphs may differ. Exported text becomes image pixels and requires no font installation for the recipient.
Is the original photo overwritten?
No. Text is added to a new image. PNG suits sharp text and transparency; JPEG is lossy and does not preserve transparency.
