How do I rotate a landscape image to portrait?
Rotate 90° clockwise or counterclockwise. Width and height swap and the toolbar shows the rotated dimensions.
Can I straighten a tilted horizon?
Yes. Enter an angle or use the -15° to 15° fine-tuning slider. The preview updates immediately and Reset restores the original orientation.
Why do empty corners appear after rotation?
Arbitrary rotation needs a larger rectangular canvas to retain the full image. Keep transparent corners, select a fill color or crop the result afterward.
Why does JPEG not preserve transparent corners?
JPEG has no transparency and uses the chosen background color. Choose PNG or WebP with transparent corners enabled to preserve them.
Does rotation clip the image or change the original?
Output dimensions contain the full rotated image, subject to 32 MP and 32767 pixels per side. Download creates a new file and processing stays local.
