How do I arrange video clips before joining?
Add at least two clips. Their top-to-bottom list order becomes playback order. Move clips up or down, remove unwanted entries and generate one MP4. Up to eight clips are accepted.
Can I join clips with different dimensions and frame rates?
Yes. The first clip determines output dimensions; other clips fit proportionally with padding. All clips are normalized to 30 fps without stretching to fill the frame or automatically cropping edges.
How are silent clips joined with clips that have sound?
The first audio track is retained in each audible clip. Silent clips receive matching silence, rather than sound from a previous clip. Joins use direct cuts without automatic audio crossfades.
Are transitions added when joining videos?
No. Clips meet at direct cuts without dissolves, black-screen transitions or opening titles. Use Video Splitter when you need separate downloadable pieces.
Why is the merged MP4 larger than the source files?
Joining normalizes and re-encodes picture and sound. Size depends on duration, picture complexity and encoding settings, and need not equal the sum of source sizes. Reduce clips or duration if output exceeds 150 MB.
What size and duration limits apply to Video Merger?
Join 2 to 8 videos totaling at most 100 MB and 10 minutes. Each frame must fit a 1920 × 1080 pixel budget. The generated output is limited to 150 MB.
