Frequently asked questions
How do I add a title to video?
Enter title text, adjust color, size and opacity, and use corners or drag to position it. Generate and inspect the video; the text layer appears from beginning to end.
Can text overlays display Chinese?
Chinese and English text can be rendered using available device fonts. If a character appears as a box, use a supported character and verify the generated result.
Can this automatically turn speech into subtitles?
No. This tool adds manually entered fixed text. It does not recognize speech, provide timed sentence captions or import SRT subtitles.
Why is text size set as a percentage?
Size is relative to source frame width, keeping position and scale consistent when the page preview is smaller. On-page display pixels are not the export’s text pixel dimensions.
Does adding text remove original sound?
No, original sound is retained in the MP4. Text becomes part of the picture and cannot be toggled like a separate subtitle track. Keep the original video.
What size and duration limits apply to Add Text to Video?
Video input is limited to 100 MB, 10 minutes and a 1920 × 1080 frame pixel budget, also applied to portrait frames. Output is limited to 150 MB; trim a shorter source interval if the output is too large.
Does Add Text to Video require registration?
No account is required and the tool is currently free. Download results before closing or refreshing the page. Initial loading needs an internet connection; processing speed depends on the device and file size.
