How do I choose the video segment to keep?
Upload a video and enter start and end times or move the sliders. To keep seconds 10–25, set Start to 10 and End to 25. Preview the selection, then generate and download the MP4.
Can I trim between video keyframes?
Time fields accept hundredths of a second. Export re-encodes the video, so cuts are not restricted to keyframes. The source frame spacing still determines the actual boundary picture.
Will trimming affect original audio or quality?
The selected segment retains its original sound and exports as MP4. Re-encoding can change quality and file size, so this is not lossless trimming. The source is unchanged and you can choose a different range.
What is the difference between trimming and cropping video?
Trimming selects a time interval; cropping selects a picture area. Use trimming to remove the opening seconds and cropping to remove borders or create a portrait frame.
Why can I not generate the selected video segment?
Start must precede End, and both must be inside the source duration. Use a valid file or shorten and resize the source if it cannot be read or exceeds the input limits.
What size and duration limits apply to Video Trimmer?
Video input is limited to 100 MB, 10 minutes and a 1920 × 1080 frame pixel budget, also applied to portrait frames. Output is limited to 150 MB; trim a shorter source interval if the output is too large.
