Frequently asked questions
How do I join several recordings in order?
Choose at least two tracks. Top-to-bottom order becomes playback order; use the up/down controls to rearrange them. Generate one MP3 or WAV and listen to the joins before downloading.
Can I join songs with different sample rates and channels?
Yes. Tracks are normalized to 48 kHz stereo before joining end to end. This processing may affect quality and is not a direct copy of the original compressed audio data.
Does joining audio play the tracks simultaneously?
No. The first track finishes before the next begins. Joining is different from mixing simultaneous sound; use a multitrack mixer for overlapping audio.
Are audio joins automatically crossfaded?
No. Tracks meet directly and source edge silence remains. Trim or remove unwanted silence first. Fade Editor treats the combined outer edges, not every internal join.
How many audio files can I join?
Up to eight, with 10 MB total input size and 30 minutes combined duration. The 10 MB allowance applies to all selected files together, not separately to each one.
What size and duration limits apply to Audio Merger?
Join 2 to 8 audio files totaling at most 10 MB and 30 minutes. Output is limited to 150 MB. Long WAV exports can exceed this; choose MP3 or fewer segments.
Does Audio Merger require registration?
No account is required and the tool is currently free. Download results before closing or refreshing the page. Initial loading needs an internet connection; processing speed depends on the device and file size.
