When to use this tool

TIFF is used for scans and publishing; inspect frame count and print metadata separately. JPEG suits photographs, uses lossy compression and cannot store transparent pixels.

Quality and output

JPEG output uses lossy encoding. Transparent input regions are composited onto white; the result cannot keep an alpha channel. Check text, sharp edges and colour after conversion.

How to use

  1. Upload a valid TIFF file.
  2. Run the conversion to JPEG.
  3. Download the result and check it before replacing your original.

Before you download

Do not use this route to archive every page of a multipage TIFF. Keep the original and verify the page you intended to share; this route exports only its first frame.
