Frequently asked questions
Will the QR code expire or have a scan limit?
The static code stores your content directly, without a site redirect or a site-imposed scan limit. If its destination URL stops working, the code still points to that URL.
Can I change the URL after printing?
No. Static QR content is fixed when generated. Create and print a new code to change it; this tool does not provide managed dynamic redirects.
Do logos, colors or rounded modules affect scanning?
They can. Use dark modules and a light background. Logos use H correction and an 8%–18% size range. Generation verifies decoding, but test the actual printed size and target devices too.
Does a QR code need a quiet zone?
The standard quiet zone is four modules on each side. None, small, medium and standard margins are available. Place borderless images on an existing clear light background; use standard for printing.
Should I download PNG or SVG?
PNG suits web and chat use. SVG is scalable and suits layout and print work. Both include the selected colors, shapes and center logo.
