Frequently asked questions
How do I play sound backwards from the end?
Upload audio up to five minutes, generate the end-to-start result and save MP3 or WAV. Use Audio Trimmer first if you only want one segment reversed.
Does reversing audio swap left and right channels?
No. Time order reverses while left and right channel assignments remain, with approximately unchanged duration. Unfamiliar backward sound does not imply the channels have swapped.
Why is audio reversal limited to five minutes?
Reversal temporarily stores more sound data than ordinary playback, so a separate five-minute limit controls device memory use. A file below 10 MB must still be trimmed if it exceeds five minutes.
Will reversing twice restore the original file?
Time order can be reversed back, but each export may re-encode. Original bytes or quality are not guaranteed; use your retained source when you need the original.
Can I reverse vocals while leaving accompaniment forward?
No. All sound in the track reverses together. Source separation and multitrack editing are not provided.
What size and duration limits apply to Audio Reverser?
Input is limited to 10 MB and 5 minutes, with output up to 150 MB. Trim the required interval from longer recordings first; choose MP3 if WAV is too large.
Does Audio Reverser require registration?
