Use WebP to JPG when a photo editor, upload form or older application does not accept WebP. JPEG suits opaque photographs; PNG is a better alternative when you need transparent pixels.
Example: when to use this tool
A document application requires JPEG and your downloaded photograph is static WebP. Convert it to JPG. Choose PNG instead if the source has transparent pixels you need to keep.
Quality and output
JPEG output uses lossy encoding. Transparent input regions are composited onto white; the result cannot keep an alpha channel. Check text, sharp edges and colour after conversion.
How to use
- Upload a valid WEBP file.
- Run the conversion to JPG.
- Download the result and check it before replacing your original.
Before you download
Use a static WebP for this image route. Animated input is not promised to retain all frames when exported as a single JPEG. Keep the source if timing or motion matters.
